Biography:

Obadiah Stane is a fictional character appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is portrayed by Jeff Bridges.

Stane serves as the primary antagonist in the 2008 film Iron Man. In the film, Stane is a business partner and mentor to Tony Stark. Following Stark's capture, Stane secretly takes control of Stark Industries and profits from arms dealing. He eventually betrays Stark, leading to a confrontation where he dons his own armored suit.

Stane's MCU appearance is his first. His character is known as Iron Monger after the armor he uses. He meets his end battling Iron Man.
